108 St. Bank Branch to have Sunday hours

Coming this September, a bank branch on 108 Street will have Sunday hours. That’s right, Sunday Hours! This will actually be the second bank in Forest Hills to offer Sunday hours, first being the Commerce Bank branch on Queens Blvd. and 71st Road. It just happens to be that another Commerce Bank branch will be opening at the corner of 108 St. and 64th Ave. It will offer the following hours: 

M-W: 7:30-8
Th-F: 7:30-8
Sun: 11:00-4

We record with profound sorrow the passing of Mr. Raymond Snitow, father of our member and past president Franklyn Snitow. The funeral is Sunday June 10th at 12:30 pm at Parkside Chapels (98-60 Queens Blvd Forest Hills NY 11374 718-896-9000)

Shiva is being observed at the Snitow residence at 110-55 70 Rd until Friday June 15th. Minyan information will be posted as soon as it is available.

We regret to announce the untimely passing of Yaakov Yehoshua Shapiro, father of our member, Harry Shapiro. The burial will be in Israel on Monday, June 11. Shiva will be observed at 254 Forest Avenue,  Woodmere,  New York (phone 516 295-9622) from Tuesday morning, June 12, through Sunday morning, June 17

Please have Chaim Moshe Ben Shoshana (Mr. Herman Fisherman) in your thoughts and prayers. He is currently in Forest Hills Hospital and in serious condition.
