Rabbi Yosef Roth
Rabbinic Intern
We are happy to announce that Rabbi Yosef Roth will be joining the Queens Jewish Center as a Rabbinic Intern and will be offering divrei torah and shiurim throughout the year. He will be starting shortly after Yom Kippur 5782.
Rabbi Roth grew up in Woodmere NY and currently lives in Kew Gardens Hills. He learned at Yeshivat Har Etzion for two years, earned a B.A. in Biology from Yeshiva University, and a Masters in Genetics from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Rabbi Roth is currently completing his semicha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). He hopes to promote Jewish activism and education.
Rabbi Roth works as a software engineer at Google. Together with his wife Devora, he runs Uyghur Rally ( https://uyghurrally.org ), an organization dedicated to combating the Uyghur genocide in China. He is excited to get to know the Queens Jewish Center community.
