Davening Individually: A Mini Shiur: CLICK HERE - audio | CLICK HERE - video

Rabbi Kerbel discussed some halachic guidelines for davening alone. Here are a few points for Shabbos that he wanted to publicize:
-One may say Vayechulu after the Friday night Shemoneh Esrei, but one should not recite the beracha afterwards.
-On Shabbos morning, it is encouraged to study the parasha and haftarah and to learn through in Hebrew and/or English.
-We omit Yekum Purkan and the Mi Shebeirach for the community. Some say the first Yekum Purkan even when davening alone.
-It is still a wonderful thing to say the prayer for the government and the State of Israel.
-We do not say Av Harachamim at this time because it is Nissan.
-At Mincha, we say Va'ani Tefilosi even when davening alone. We do not say Tzikadsecha Tzedek because it is Nissan.
-One should wait to daven Ma'ariv until Shabbos ends and should not perform any melacha beforehand.
We look forward be'ezras Hashem to being able to come together as soon as we can!
