Dear QJC Family,
 
Yeshayahu teaches us that we do not fast for the sake of fasting, but we are reminded to take care of those who are in need.

As we are in a period of teshuvah, we are excited to share we hare having a Food/Hygiene Product drive, in conjuction with Commonpoint Queens. Any food item that is kosher and non-perishable can be accepted, but a specific request was made for cooking oil and spices. Everyday hygiene products are essential as well.

Over the next few weeks, if you are able to come by shul to drop off these items, your participaiton is greatly welcomed. It would be best to refrain from bringing items on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
