1) As a reminder, everyone who received an aliyah on Simchas Torah is encouraged to make their donation to the Rabbi's Fund. Checks can be made out to Queens Jewish Center and should include "Rabbi's Fund" in the memo line so that it is deposited accordingly.
2) I want to give a yasher koach everyone who participated in the Food/Product Drive over the course of the Yamim Noraim. It is a source of pride that our community participated in this initiative. Thanks to Lorraine for bringing over the products to Commonpoint Queens last week. Here are a couple of pictures.
3) Finally, tomorrow I begin a new series of shiurim on the Laws of Kashrut. This is part of the Tzurba M'rabanan program, which is a concise learning method from the Talmudic source through modern-day halachic application. We will begin with the requirement to wait between meat and dairy. This begins Tuesday, November 1 at 7:50 PM, both in person and on Zoom. A reminder with the Zoom link will be sent tomorrow. Some source books are still available - please let me know if you would like to acquire one.
