I received the following notice from the Vaad Harabonim of Queens:

"This past week we walked along the cemetery on Main St. south between the LIE and Seasons supermarket (68 Drive). It is clear that there are trees overhanging from cemetery to the street. These trees are on city property. We have been in touch with our local elected officials about the pruning of the trees. This will be a process that will take some time to cure. In the meantime, this presents a Halachic issue for Kohanim."

Kohanim should be careful not to walk or drive along that part of Main Street until further notice.

To be clear: the issue stops at the gas station right by Seasons. Kohanim may enter Seasons.
