Dear QJC Family,

I had intended to provide a handout for my discussion of Pikuach Nefesh this past Shabbos but was unable to print it. I am attaching it here. It contains the most important points to keep in mind in these situations.

I also want to remind people to sign up for the siyum on Mishnayos Seder Moed, which will iy"H take place on the 2nd day of Shavuos! Shavuos is three weeks away, and we still have a number of masechtos/chapters to complete (particularly Shabbos, Eruvin, some of Pesach, Shekalim, Yoma, Rosh Hashanah, and Taanis).

The goal for the siyum is to unite our shul as a Torah-learning community as we accept the Torah anew on Shavuos. Quantity is not as important - whether you can take one chapter or a whole masechet, I encourage everyone to sign up to learn something!
