Dr. Henry Abramson is Dean of the Lander College of Arts and Sciences in Flatbush, and a renowned expert on Jewish History. The author of eight books and many scholarly articles, Dr. Abramson has held visiting appointments and post-doctoral fellowships at Cornell, Harvard, Oxford and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of the Jewish History in Daf Yomi series, a project of the OU's AllDaf Daf Yomi platform.
Rabbi Moshe Elefant is Chief Operating Officer of OU Kosher and the maggid shiur of the Orthodox Union’s Daf Yomi webcast (whose 1,800 learners a day around the globe make his lectures the most popular Daf in the world).
Rabbi Eytan Feiner currently serves as the Rav of Congregation Kneseth Israel ("The White Shul") in Far Rockaway, New York. In addition to leading the many member families at The White Shul, Rabbi Feiner also teaches and lectures regularly throughout the New York area and beyond, has been a scholar-in-residence in many communities, and serves as the Rabbi of Chai Lifeline's Camp Simcha during the summer. In the past, Rabbi Feiner was a senior lecturer and Maggid Shiur at Aish HaTorah in Israel, while teaching regularly at various other yeshivos and seminaries.
Rabbi David Fohrman Is the founder and CEO of Aleph Beta, a non-profit media company that produces high-quality Torah videos highlighting a unique methodology in studying Torah text in a way that is both intellectually rigorous and emotionally engaging. Rabbi Fohrman also lectures internationally on Biblical themes. He served as a senior writer and editor for ArtScroll’s Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud, and taught Biblical themes at Johns Hopkins University. Rabbi Aaron Lopiansky is the Rosh HaYeshiva of the Yeshiva of Greater Washington Tiferes Gedaliah. Rabbi Lopiansky brings to the yeshiva the cumulative impact of decades of learning at the Mir Yerushalayim; he continues the mesorah of his rebbeim, Harav Chaim Shmuelevitz zt”l, Harav Nachum Partzovitz zt”l, and his father-in-law, Rav Beinish Finkel zt”l (the late Rosh HaYeshiva of the Mir). His approach to learning was also deeply influenced by his long association as a close talmid of Harav Moshe Shapiro zt”l. Rabbi Lopiansky’s most recent publication, Ben Torah for Life, offers guidance to those engaged in the workforce to maintain Torah goals and values.
Rabbi Yaakov Neuburger is a Rosh Yeshiva at the Yeshiva Program/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies at Yeshiva University, and the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Abraham in Bergenfield, NJ. From 1986-1990, Rabbi Neuburger was spiritual leader of the Jewish community at Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Jack D. Weiler Hospital. A Toronto native, Rabbi Neuburger received semikha from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary in 1979, and was one of the first to receive Yadin Yadin ordination from RIETS. Rabbi Neuburger is a 1977 graduate of Yeshiva College, and holds a Master’s degree in psychology from Columbia University.
Mrs. Chaya Batya (CB) Neugroschl is the Head of School at Yeshiva University High School for Girls (“Central”). She is an educator with over twenty years of pedagogic, curricular, and administrative experience in both Judaic and General Studies. Before coming to Central, Mrs. Neugroschl served as Assistant Principal and Co-Director of General Studies at SAR High School, where she introduced innovative curricular initiatives and special programming. Previously, Mrs. Neugroschl was the Director of Admissions at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, where she also taught Jewish History and Philosophy.
Mrs. Sivan Rahav Meir, the World Mizrachi Shlicha to North America, was born in Israel and is married to Yedidya Meir (who is also a journalist) and together they have 5 children. Sivan has been working in the Israeli media since the age of six and became Orthodox as a teenager. Today, she works for channel 2 news, Yedioth Acharonot and the IDF radio (Galei Tzahal). Mrs. Rahav Meir has interviewed Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Sara Netanyahu, Rav Ovadia Yosef and many others. She has also authored four books about Israel’s youth, Media, and Torah. Additionally, she gives weekly lectures about the Parsha with hundreds of people in attendance, including recently the President of Israel.
Rabbi Yosef Zvi Rimon is an internationally acclaimed posek, author, educator, and lecturer. Individuals and communities from around the globe turn to him regarding complex questions in Halacha, the responses of which have been pivotal in helping shape the contemporary Jewish world. For Rav Rimon, innovation in Torah and Chessed come hand in hand. Rav Rimon is Rosh Yeshiva of Lev Academic Center (JCT), as well as the community rabbi of Alon Shvut South.
Rabbi Shaul Robinson was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at Yeshivat HaMivtar in Efrat, Israel, and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA in Not for Profit Management from the University of Nottingham. Rabbi Robinson was the first full time Student Chaplain at the University of Cambridge, subsequently served as the Rabbi of the Barnet Synagogue in North London until 2005, and has been the Senior Rabbi at Lincoln Square Synagogue since then.
Professor Smadar Rosensweig is a world renowned Jewish Educator and Lecturer in Tanakh. She lectures extensively throughout the United States and internationally, particularly in Israel. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Bible and Judaic Studies at Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University, where she is active in the spiritual life on campus. Professor Rosensweig received her B.A from Barnard College in History and her M.A. and M. Phil from Columbia University in Jewish History, where she studied under Professor Yosef Hayim Yerushalmi and was a Presidential Fellow. Previously, she was a Professor of Judaic Studies at Lander College for Women, Touro College and a Senior Lecturer of Tanakh at the Allegra Franco Teachers College.
Rabbi Yonason Sacks, the Rosh Yeshiva of Beis Medrash L’Talmud, Lander College for Men, is a leading posek and author of 38 seforim. Rabbi Sacks descends from a long line of illustrious rabbinic personalities. His great-grandfather, the legendary Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank, served as Chief Rabbi of Yerushalayim for more than 50 years. For over a quarter century, Rabbi Sacks has been a leading figure in harbatzos ha’Torah as a Rosh Yeshiva and Rebbe. For 18 years he was a Rosh Yeshiva at Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) at Yeshiva University, where he was ordained and awarded Semicha Yadin Yadin, an advanced rabbinic ordination. For more than 25 years, he has been the Rav of Agudas Yisroel Bircas Yaakov in Passaic, NJ.
Rabbi Hershel Schachter, a noted Talmudic scholar, has had a distinguished career with YU RIETS for nearly 50 years. He joined the faculty in 1967, at the age of 26, the youngest Rosh Yeshiva at RIETS. Since 1971, Rabbi Schachter has been Rosh Kollel in RIETS’ Marcos and Adina Katz Kollel (Institute for Advanced Research in Rabbinics) and also holds the institution’s Nathan and Vivian Fink Distinguished Professorial Chair in Talmud. Rabbi Schachter also serves as the Posek for the OU’s Kashruth Division.
Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter is University Professor of Jewish History and Jewish Thought and Senior Scholar at the Center for the Jewish Future at Yeshiva University. Rabbi Schacter was the first Rabbi of the Young Israel of Sharon, MA, served as the Rabbi of The Jewish Center in New York City, and as Rabbi of the Maimonides Minyan in Brookline, MA. Dr. Schacter holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages from Harvard University and received rabbinic ordination from Mesivta Torah Vodaath. Rabbi Schacter served as Founding President of the Council of Orthodox Jewish Organizations (COJO) of the Upper West Side, is a member of the Board of Governors of the Orthodox Union and is on the Editorial Boards of Tradition, Jewish Action, BDD (Bechal Derachecha Da’ehu) and Jewish Educational Leadership.
Rabbi Zvi Sobolofsky is a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University’s Rabbi Issac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS). In addition to his role at RIETS, Rabbi Sobolofsky serves as the Rabbi of Congregation Ohr HaTorah in Bergenfield, NJ. Rabbi Sobolofsky also lectures at the Bergen County Beis Medrash Program (BCBM) hosted at Congregation Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck, NJ, and gives weekly shiurim at Yeshivat Frisch, TABC, Heichal HaTorah, MTA, and TABC. He has been blessed to spend the last 10 summers at NCSY Kollel in Eretz Yisrael.
Rabbanit Shani Taragin began her B.A. studies at Stern College and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Tanakh and Talmud at Bar-Ilan University. She is also a graduate of the Matan Scholar’s Program and of Nishmat’s Keren Ariel Program for certification as a halachic advisor (yoetzet halacha) in issues of family purity law. Shani is the educational director of Matan Eshkolot – Tanakh teachers’ education program, Mizrachi Lapidot teachers in Torah shebeal-peh, and of the Morot l’Halacha program in MaTaN Renana. Shani has taught and continues to teach, lead tours and coordinate programs in numerous seminaries and adult education programs in Israel (e.g. Matan, Midreshet Lindenbaum, MTVA, Sha’alvim for Women, Migdal Oz, Amit Fellows, Women’s Beit Medrash in Efrat and Ramat Bet-Shemesh).

Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein, founder and director of Ohr Naava, has become an icon in the Jewish world with his fearless vision, deep conviction and unfailing warmth. Rabbi Wallerstein, now celebrating an over-three-decades career in chinuch, the dynamic educator— with his trademark passion, clarity, and love—has touched the hearts and souls of thousands of students from all shades of the religious spectrum. Seventeen years ago, upon grasping a profound paucity in the spiritual and social resources available to today’s Jewish women, Rabbi Wallerstein dared to step out of the box—and founded Ohr Naava, at a time when no comparable center existed.
Rabbi Steven Weil is the Senior Managing Director of the Orthodox Union. Rabbi Weil, the son of German “Viehhaendler,” grew up on a cattle farm in Upstate New York. His love for learning began early, and as a teenager prevailed upon his parents to send him away to Yeshiva. He continued his education at Kerem B’Yavneh and Yeshiva University, concurrently completing his ordination at the Rabbeinu Yitzchak Elchanan Theological Seminary and a Master’s in Business Administration from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Rabbi Weil began his career teaching, and then began pulpit work; first at the Young Israel of Oak Park, Michigan and then at Beth Jacob Congregation in Beverly Hills, California. In both positions, Rabbi Weil significantly expanded the synagogue’s membership and programming and was involved in serving the needs of the greater community as well. In 2009 he became the chief executive officer of the Orthodox Union.
Dr. Ora Wiskind received her B.A. from Northwestern University in Comparative literature, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Hebrew literature. Her research interests include Jewish thought and literary studies, Hasidism, and the interface between scriptural exegesis, culture and hermeneutics. Drawing from a range of disciplines, she seeks to integrate two approaches that are often held to be mutually exclusive: critical treatment of traditional Jewish texts, aided by the relevant academic scholarship, along with sustained attentiveness to the spiritual and experiential dimensions of the topics in question. Ora is associate professor and head of the graduate program in Jewish Studies at Michlalah College, Jerusalem.
Rabbi Dr. Jeffrey R. Woolf is an internationally known scholar, lecturer, and public figure. He is an associate professor in the Talmud Department at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, specializing in the History of Halacha, Medieval and Renaissance Jewish History, Italian Jewish History, and the interaction between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. He received his PhD (1991) in Medieval Jewish History and Literature at Harvard University and spent two years at Yale University as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Religion. He studied for nine and a half years under Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik zt”l, and received semicha from RIETS in 1982.
